The Indiana State Seniors Golf Association, Inc. is an organization of amateur golfers who have reached the age of fifty -five and enjoy the competition and comradeship of golf.  The association was started by a small group of golfers in 1929 and has grown to more than 800 members.  Senior golfers residing in Indiana may request a membership application form through the Contact Us link above.

Annually, the association holds fifteen tournaments open to its members between the first of May and the first week of October each year.   Tournaments are held at some of the finest country clubs and golf courses in Indiana.   Eleven of the tournaments are stroke play format and four are various team formats.  Prizes are awarded for both low gross and low net scores in all events.

Members contribute annually to the Evans Scholars Foundation and the ALS Therapy Development Foundation.  ISSGA members have contributed approximately two thousand dollars per year to each charity in recent years.

In 2005, Stoops Buick - GMC of Plainfield, Indiana became a corporate sponsor of our tournament series.  Their sponsorship provides for upgrading the quality of our tournaments, improving administrative functions, and helping to supplement member charitable contributions.  Please click on the link below to find more about their products and services.

PROFESSIONAL EMERITUS ROLLIE SCHROEDER WILL BE HOSTING SEVEN TWO-MAN BEST BALL TEAM EVENTS THIS SUMMER AT THE BRICKYARD CROSSING GOLF COURSE.  THE EVENTS ARE OPEN TO ALL SENIOR GOLFERS.  AN ENTRY FEE OF $75 COVERS GOLF, RANGE BALLS, TROPHIES AND PRIZES.  INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND AT www.brickyardseniorgolfseries.com .

JERRY TARSAN HIT A NINE IRON INTO THE 125 YARD PAR 3 HOLE # 16 ON THE SYCAMORE COURSE AT EAGLE CREEK ON MARCH 23, 2009.  THIS WAS JERRY'S 4TH LIFETIME HOLE IN ONE.

JERRY FOLLOWED THAT BY ACING THE 180 YARD PAR 3 15TH HOLE AT PRESTWICK WITH A 5 IRON ON MAY 29,2009 FOR HIS 5TH LIFETIME HOLE IN  ONE.

CONGRATULATIONS, JERRY !!   SINCE YOU SEEM TO BE IN A PATTERN, WE WILL EXPECT TO HEAR ABOUT ANOTHER H-I-O AROUND JULY 25TH, OR MAYBE YOU COULD DO IT AT BRIDGEWATER ON THE 29TH AND TAKE HOME THE ISSGA JACKPOT.  BEST WISHES FOR MANY MORE!
