Welcome to the ISSGA Website
The Indiana State Seniors Golf Association, Inc. is an organization of amateur golfers who have reached the age of fifty -five and enjoy the competition and comradeship of golf. The association was started by a small group of golfers in 1929 and has grown to more than 800 members. Senior golfers residing in Indiana may request a membership application form through the Contact Us link above.
Annually, the association holds fifteen tournaments open to its members between the first of May and the first week of October each year. Tournaments are held at some of the finest country clubs and golf courses in Indiana. Eleven of the tournaments are stroke play format and four are various team formats. Prizes are awarded for both low gross and low net scores in all events.
Members contribute annually to the Evans Scholars Foundation and the ALS Therapy Development Foundation. ISSGA members have contributed approximately two thousand dollars per year to each charity in recent years.
In 2005, Stoops Buick - GMC of Plainfield, Indiana became a corporate sponsor of our tournament series. Their sponsorship provides for upgrading the quality of our tournaments, improving administrative functions, and helping to supplement member charitable contributions. HOLE - IN - ONE NEWS
Garry Ross of Brownsburg made a hole in one on the 127 yd. 11th hole at Hickory Stick Golf Club in the rain shortened ISSGA Stroke Play Tournament on August 4, 2009. This is the only hole in one in our tournament play this year. A new jackpot was started at the Championship at Monticello.

Bob Walden scored the second Hole-In-One of this ISSGA season on Monday august 24, 2009 at Kokomo Country Club. Bob hit a seven iron on the 155 yd. 8th hole for his fifth lifetime ace.

BENNIE KIBURIS WINS FLIGHT AT MYRTLE BEACH
ISSGA member Bennie Kiburis of Rosedale, IN recently won his flight in the annual Myrtle Beach National Amateur tournament. He has competed in this event for several years and currently plays in the super senior level. Bennie won by outscoring his opponent on the last hole.
